Volunteers play an invaluable role at PHAN. The agency and the community benefit from the generosity, skills and dedication of approximately 100 volunteers. We could not offer our wide range of services without the thousands of volunteer hours donated by committed individuals like you!

Program Goal
To recruit, train and utilize volunteers to assist in enhancing PHAN programming. To assist members of the community to build skills, gain experience and knowledge through volunteering, allowing them to grow in their professional and personal lives.
Program Objectives
- Assist individuals in gaining new skills through experience and training to grow in their professional and personal lives
- Assist newcomers to gain new skills and experience to find meaningful employment and feel supported in transitioning to Canadian life
- Find new communities and outreach locations through the personal experiences of each volunteer
- Assist students in gaining firsthand experience and knowledge of their Education Program
